Sound Effect Guide (for Windows) |
||||||||||
| Learn how to change your computer's sound effects with this simple guide. | |||||||||||
| (click on thumbnails below for larger images) | 1. Pick out some sound effects that you like (these must be in .wav format) and save them on your computer in an accessible place. | ||||||||||
| 2. Open the Control Panel and go to Sounds and Multimedia. | |||||||||||
| 3. Choose a sound effect that you want to change and click browse. Then find the sound effect that you want to replace it with and click OK. (I know from personal experience that it can get very annoying if you add a Select, open program, close program , or menu popup sound effect. Also, as a word of advice, don't use very long sound effects for errors or other things. Save the long ones for Starting or exiting Windows.) | |||||||||||
| 4. Finally, apply the settings, and you're done. | |||||||||||

Disclaimer: I don't own any of these characters/voices/pictures and they all belong to their original creators/owners. However, I did create and edit the Sound Effects/Icons/Magic Cards so don't put them on your site without permission, okay? |
